Bead coil collection
This design is a flash of pure genius
I'd love to say that it was mine but the genius actually belonged to a celtic craftmen who lived centuries ago.
I used to study and make Celtic jewellery back in the 80's when everybody else was doing so, and I had a book called 'The work of angels'. I lent it to someone who never returned it. (You know who you are).
In it there was a picture of a partial bangle that had been dug up somewhere or other and, by postulating the missing bits, I came up with this design. The original didn't have the class gold beads but it did have the basic continuous form of the main body of the bangle.
It's been a very popluar design as it falls neatly into the 'classic but distinctive' bracket that I am always aiming for in my design. This means that you can wear it with just about anything but it will, none the less, always look a little bit special.
