The low down on the gold fin collection
I've always liked this shape ...but I've never known what to all it!. I've come down to 'fin' because it reminds me of the cross section of the kind of fins that you find, not on fish, in engineering and machine parts. If anyone can think of a better name, then please let me know.
The basis of the design is a round diamond in a square hole. One of the advantages of this is that the stone appears to be square but is actually smaller than a square or 'princess cut' diamond of this size. 'More bang for your buck' as it were.
The bangles are the most popular of these designs, especially the 'Diamond Curves' variation, with the two part silver and gold ring coming in a close second. This ring also goes well with the 'Diamond Curves' bangle. If you prefer the straight bangle then the smaller of the other two rings is probably the most suitable for ring sizes up to P and the heavier for sizes beyond that.
If you want to choose earrings to go with the bangles then the gold ones above are the same size as the gold fins on the bangles and so, although the bangle is predominantly silver, the gold earrings may be a better match than the silver ones. |
