On top of this, we now have a VAT rise. (How can that be a good idea?)
I've always built my jewellery good and heavy in order to give a feel of solidity and value. Now that's coming back to bite me and, having held out for a long time, I've been forced, this year, to put up many of my prices. They'll appear slowly like stars coming out at night because it's a lengthy process to go through the whole site page by page. This means, if you're thinking of ordering something, then it may be a good idea to do it soon!
But wait, there is good news...
On my web sites I have to match the prices that the shops set. This is only fair as they have enormous overheads and it would be unfair to undercut them. However, there are two ways that I can help you to better prices:
Firstly, I have left the prices in my Special Offers section and the Rogue's Gallery largely unchanged, which means that the savings there are even greater than they were.
Secondly, if you become one of my private clients, I can offer you certain discounts and other special offers not available on the web site. There is a benefit, therefore, in getting your hands on one of my catalogues and getting your name onto my mailing list. (Don't worry; I'll not abuse your personal data or inundate you with advertising)
