Swarovski crystal collection
The crystals in this jewellery collection are all Swarovski briolettes, held in silver cups (a little like freesia blooms) by twists of fine 18ct gold wire.
Swarovski crystals are not really crystals (shhhh!) they are cut glass. They've been used in jewellery and for chandeliers and as decoration in the fashion industry for many years and have recently started to market their wares internationally through a range of shops. You can find out more about them on their rather flashy web site.
I use the 9mm briolettes in this range and I've chosen what I consider the 5 most vibrant colours and you can choose which of them you have in your jewellery.
There is a second pair of earrings that are not displayed on this page. They have gold beads on the ear rather than the long hooks that you see on these one. I, personally, like the elegant lines of the hook earring but I know that some people don't like to thread that much metal through their ear. I don't wear earrings so I couldn't possibly comment.
