Wave

These rings began as part of a stacking set that I designed for a customer. They are carved from a 3mm reversed D section to create a wave-crest that runs around the ring. This throws up a series of elegant curved surfaces which, in the original set, were intended to act as a counterpoint to the more geometric lines of the other rings.

Unfortunately, what with all those reflecting curves, they've proved incredibly difficult to photograph in a way that catches the elegant simplicity of the form and doesn't just make them look confused. I've done my best though and added some images that show the rings in sets mounted on a glass rod. You can see these by clicking the thumbnails below.

Plain silver
This makes a great little ring just on it's own, but at just over 2mm it's also eminently stackable.

Silver and gold bead
As above but with gold beads set into the curved surfaces.

Silver gold and diamonds
Six 1pt diamonds set in 9ct gold tube settings.

Peppering a silver and gold ring with diamonds does tend to lift it out of the normal
price range for a silver ring and so I'm also developing this set as a yellow and white
gold or a gold and palladium set. Watch this space for details.

Sets
You can, of course, mix these rings in a totally random fashion but I've photographed a few obvious configurations for you to see.
