Carlo's jewellery designs are inspired by ancient artifacts and cave paintings. Gold, silver, marble , granite and slate along with selected precious and semi precious are the materials used in Carlo's designs.

The marble & granite come from the quarries in Tuscany, and the slate from the mines in North Wales.

Born in Birmingham England 1963, Carlo studied at Mid-Warwickshire College of further Education for two years ( jewellery trade course 1981-1983 ) followed by a three year bachelor or arts degree in jewellery design and manufacture at Central school of art and design London (1983-1986).

Carlo now sells though gallery/shops & private commissions, he has also undertaken corporate design work. Most recently designing a range of jewellery for the Victoria & Albert.
