Bit of a special one: 3mm princess cut pink sapphires and diamonds in a classic mount. |
| What's the story : |
I was asked to rebuild a clients antique wedding ring with a complicated gallery pattern on the sides. (mouse over the image to see it) I decided to make it up in silver first as that's the best way to discover the problems and pitfalls of a new design. I set it with princess cut pink sapphires as that's what I had in stock.
Be aware that because it's a small size, the image makes it look chunkier than it actually is. |

The shank is silver, the pink sapphires are 3mm and the spaces between are set with 1pt diamonds with a milgrain edge to throw the light around a bit more. |

It's probably more of a dress ring than an everyday ring as it's quite delicate and won't take a lot of bashing. |
