Tourmaline deco ring
Green tourmaline and diamond art deco ring.
I planned and developed this ring for a client a couple of years back but she decided to put the project on ice. Having cast the shank, I thought that I should do something with it so I’ve found a beautiful chrome tourmaline and added some princess cut diamonds into the shoulders to give it a bit of sparkle.
The ring is in 9ct gold with white gold holding the diamonds. The shank is quite heavy, weighing just over 6 grams giving it a please solidity.
The best green tourmalines are described as chrome tourmalines, because it’s this element that gives them the beautiful rich green hue. The diamonds are 1.5mm squares with an approximate weight of 0.12ct.
The ring is size M at the moment and I can size it up to about an R without compromising the chunky feel. I could take it down to about a K without disrupting the settings. If you like the design but want sizes outside of this range or a different combination of stones then please contact me.
